BH Bikes - I hadn't heard of them until recently but it seems they've been producing bikes in Europe since 1909. The company began life as an arms manufacturer (a bit like BSA - I wonder what happened to them?) and after the First World War turned their talents to the production of bicycles for the citizens of Eibar in Spain, where they're based. They've subsequently moved production to Vitoria, broadening their production line to include road, mountain, all terrain, electric and even fitness and elliptical bicycles.

BH Bikes concept store in Cape Town, Western Cape. South Africa
BH Bikes has a presence in South Africa (in Cape Town) and we recently popped in to their concept store to have a look at their range of bikes and, more importantly, their ebikes. Owner, Ray Wilson, clearly has a passion for them and we spent a good few hours chatting about the bicycles and ebiking in general. Their range (itemised below) extends from a very functional hard tail to an oh-so-lovely full suss carbon creation - the ER969 Atom-X Carbon Lynx 6 Pro-S (that's quite a name!) Alas, time (a lack thereof) didn't allow a test ride but I have every reason to believe they will be more than up to the job.
We will most certainly set up rides in the near future but in the meantime, check out the specs below:
