The night skies at Letskraal Guest Farm near Graaff Reinet are just amazing

It was cold and drizzly on the way out of Middelburg. Hopefully Pat’s out there getting coffee ready!

The weather cleared on the second part of the ride out of Middelburg, the gentle climb up Lessinghoogte Pass offering stunning views of the Karoo.

On the 50km between Asemskep and Nieu Bethesda we passed not a soul. Nothing except a few sheep and horses…

You won’t believe how delicious the cheese platter is at the Fainting Goat Deli and The Brewery at Nieu Bethesda.

Lovely, easy cruising on the way to Nieu Bethesda. And the autumn colours were just amazing.
